Teletherapy is confidential, convenient, and effective. Sessions are held through a HIPPA-compliant electronic health record (EHR) portal. Teletherapy allows you to connect from your home or office. All you need is a space that is private and void of distractions, a stable internet connection, a phone or laptop, and headphones.

If you are in Puerto Rico, I offer both in-person and online options.
If you are in North Carolina, I offer teletherapy online sessions across the state.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (BCBT), a streamlined version of traditional CBT aimed at delivering effective, time-sensitive therapy. Tailoring treatment to each client's needs and goals, I integrate BCBT with evidence-based modalities like Mindfulness-based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Additionally, I draw from specialized techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) for sleep concerns, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma/PTSD issues, and The Socratic Method to encourage self-directed exploration and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.

Each session is 50 minutes.
Therapy sessions are available for residents of North Carolina and Puerto Rico.
-
Clients can expect to meet for 8-12 sessions, starting weekly and then moving to bi-weekly/monthly depending on the needs of the client. This is fluid and can be shorter or longer depending on the individual needs of the client.
-
Individual 50-minute sessions are $200.00 per session.
My therapy services are private-pay, meaning you'll be responsible for paying for each session. If you'd like to use your out-of-network (OON) benefits, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
It's a good idea to check with your insurance provider to find out what your out-of-network mental health benefits cover. If needed, I can give you a superbill at the end of each month. Keep in mind that a mental health diagnosis is required for a superbill.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
